3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations including HIPAA and CMS rules.

  • Maintain valid licenses and credentials for all providers.

  • Respond promptly to documentation or clarification requests.

  • Maintain secure access to Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems if required.

Verifimed is not responsible for delays, claim denials, or payment issues resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed information provided by the client.


4. Fees and Payment Terms

Service fees are defined in the executed service agreement and may include:

  • A percentage of monthly collections (starting as low as 2.99%)

  • Flat service fees

  • Credentialing fees

  • Setup or onboarding fees (if applicable)

Payment terms:

  • Invoices must be paid according to the timeline defined in the service agreement.

  • Late payments may incur additional fees.

  • Failure to pay invoices may result in suspension of services.

  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.


5. HIPAA Compliance and Confidentiality

Verifimed operates in compliance with applicable healthcare privacy and security laws including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

We:

  • Implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.

  • Sign Business Associate Agreements (BAA) where required.

  • Protect Protected Health Information (PHI) according to legal standards.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that appropriate patient consent and authorization have been obtained where required.


6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website including text, graphics, branding, logos, and design is the intellectual property of Verifimed and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may not:

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for services during the previous three (3) months.

While Verifimed strives to maximize claim acceptance and optimize healthcare revenue cycles, we do not guarantee:

  • 100% claim approval

  • Specific increases in revenue

  • Specific reimbursement timelines

Healthcare reimbursements depend on payer rules, patient eligibility, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.


9. Termination

Either party may terminate services according to the terms of the signed service agreement.

Upon termination:

  • Outstanding invoices remain payable.

  • Access to client systems will be discontinued.

  • Client data will be returned or securely destroyed as required by law.


10. Third-Party Services

Verifimed may use trusted third-party vendors such as software providers, hosting services, clearinghouses, or analytics platforms.

We are not responsible for the policies, actions, or practices of independent third-party providers.


11. Website Disclaimer

Information on our website is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, financial, or legal advice.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Verifimed, its employees, affiliates, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
